Front Entrance…
The renovation of this front entrance added side windows, matching benches, and new light fixture. During the day, the natural light creates a welcoming sight, while in the evening, the interior light casts a warm and inviting glow on the stoop.
Window Well Covers…
The most common way window well covers are attached is by using adhesive applied to the home’s structure. When they need replacing (as these did, resulting from a hail storm), your only option is to break the seal, scrape off the adhesive from the house, and start over. My solution was to design a framed system that would allow the covers to be exchanged easily. The frame itself is attached to the house. The frames face has removable fitments that detach for the new cover to be installed securely. They are a creative, weatherproof solution and also look great!
Mailbox Makeover…
This old mailbox was due for an upgrade. The new mailbox features a pressure treated post in concrete, a pvc exterior, solid brass numbers, and a paint scheme that complements the house. The finished photo, taken a year later, showcases how the additional landscaping enhances the overall look.
Green Stairway Risers…
The risers on these stairs came from sections of the old kitchen floor. While the pattern added an interesting design element, the performance of the material deteriorated over time. To achieve a robust and polished appearance, new wood risers were cut, painted, and installed.
The Toolshed…
This 10′ x 12′ shed is build like a mini-house. Wrap around soffit, double doors with translucent windows, ramp, side window, eight foot interior walls, pvc corner wraps, and ridge vent. There’s also plenty of loft storage!
Bell Post Sign…
Sometimes you make something for yourself and hopes it inspires others. This post with hanging sign became the resting place for an antique farm bell. Would you like one? With or without the bell, this post sign holds it’s own and adds charm to any property.
